It also promotes trust within the agricultural value chain, challenging exploitative practices and creating a benchmark for ethical market transactions.

NEMA connects farmers directly to stable and reliable local and global markets, removing uncertainty and instability. This approach enhances farmers’ confidence to focus on quality and productivity, knowing their products will reach buyers who value them. The expansion into diverse markets also encourages income diversification and long-term growth.

Working with over 850 women smallholder farmers, NEMA prioritizes tools and resources that remove obstacles these farmers face. Recognizing the central role women play in agriculture, NEMA ensures their contributions are supported and their incomes enhanced. This not only strengthens families but uplifts entire communities.
